The Advantages of LaBina® Pigment Inks
We use high-quality raw materials
We only use the best, high-quality and tested raw materials. In accordance with our own raw material management, we test our products more extensively with independent laboratories than required by law.
Lightfastness and an impressive range of shades
The pigments used in the LaBina® pigment inks do not cleave off any carcinogenic or other toxic substances. The use of high-purity, high-performance pigments guarantees safety. The pigments have excellent lightfastness and we have developed an impressive range of colours. Synthetic pigments are of high quality and are almost completely free from heavy metals like nickel.
Free from potentially carcinogenic AZO dyes
As required by law, LaBina® pigment inks do not contain any AZO dyes as they are believed to cause cancer. Each batch is tested for possible contamination.
No chemical preservatives
novoxx® is 100 % biocompatible and is not perceived by the body as a foreign substance. novoxx® replaces conventional cosmetics preservatives and reliably kills bacteria, yeasts and fungi. It acts as an antioxidant, protects the skin and pigments, promotes wound healing and reduces itching.
No iron oxide, prevents red brows
Iron oxide can turn the skin red and usually is a sign of a product having a high nickel content. Without iron oxide, pigments remain stable in the skin without becoming red. This also reduces the risk of allergic reactions.
Tested for heavy metals
In addition to the Council of Europe’s requirements, we voluntarily test our pigment inks for heavy metals according to the strict Californian regulations for tattoo inks and evaluate them according to a total of 18 different parameters.
No carcinogenic PAH
Many polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH) are suspected carcinogens and therefore have no place in pigment inks. We only use the highest purity carbon black quality soot from a German manufacturer which is guaranteed to not contain any PAH.
Manufactured without animal suffering
We do not test any of our products on animals.
No bleeding – more colour in the skin
“ASS - Advanced Skin Sealing Technology” ensures that the pores close up quickly. This stops the colour from bleeding and ensures effective colour storage.
Maximum pigment, maximum colour
“NBT – Narrow Band Dispersion Technology” guarantees maximum pigment storage in the skin and an extremely high colour density.
Safety during MRI examinations
Our LaBina® pigment inks do not cause any side effects during magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures, unlike conventional products that contain iron oxides.
No alcohol added
Alcohol, which is often used as a preservative in PMU inks, irritates the skin and burns in the wound. LaBina® pigment inks do not contain alcohol.
Sterility is guaranteed
Our LaBina® pigment inks are mixed under vacuum and ground in an airtight environment to avoid contamination. In accordance with all statutory provisions, our pigment inks are sterilised with gamma rays. novoxx® ensures microbiological safety after opening.
Vegan raw materials
With one exception: LaBina® pigment inks contain shellac. This is a resin that is secreted by the female lac bug onto trees and then collected. We use shellac as a binding agent to stop our pigments and ingredients from settling at the bottom of the bottle. We use a high purity pharmaceutical shellac, which is also used in medicines and food.
Quality and colour fidelity through digitalisation
We use an IT-based formulation system and a quality assurance system (QA) to ensure consistent quality and high colour fidelity. Our production process is fully documented and almost reaches the world’s highest standard in the pharmaceutical industry.
Cosmetic pharmaceutical dispersant
The dispersant used in our LaBina® pigment inks only consists of certified pharmaceutical and cosmetic raw materials that are toxicologically safe.
